I am very honored to present this beautiful series of giclee prints of Buddha statues on images of Tibetan thanka paintings. Cara and I collaborated on this project - I photographed the Buddha statues at a unique ourdoor nursery in Santa Fe, and later photographed the thanka paintings. Cara’s preparation of the Buddhas for composition, and her electronically-designed frames, complete these richly-detailed images. The statues and thankas depicted are from the collection of Heart of the Lotus, dealers in Asian artifacts in the Santa Fe area. Frames designed by Cara Lee. |
